Borne of lust and unhealthy obsession, GIRL FRIEND are haunted by dreams of dark rooms, bright lights, smoke and mirrors. Everyone wants to be wanted, and only the boring are bored. GIRL FRIEND are the soundtrack to a life lived beyond means, finding glamor in the mundane, in pursuit of something more. ‘Everyone Wants To Be Wanted’ is a four track EP and features the recent free download ‘Perfume’, a brooding, perfect pop homage to lust without love, which had great support from Amazing Radio and was a Clash Magazine ‘Track of The Day’ on Valentines Day. The band arouse a steamy atmosphere on recordings, channeling the muses of an apologetic yet perpetual womaniser through a classy vocal dropping in and out of falsetto.
