Gl0bal Reveals Highly Anticipated ‘Insomnia 2’ EP On Circus Records

After stirring much excitement with the release of his two lead singles ‘WYN’ and ‘Believe’, Canadian-based producer/DJ, Gl0bal finally unveils his highly-anticipated ‘Insomnia 2’ EP. The five-track EP serves as a captivating follow up to his debut ‘Insomnia’ EP, released on Circus Records in 2019. ‘Insomnia 2’ encompasses Gl0bal’s ever-growing studio precision and his refined signature sound. ‘Insomnia 2’ is available now across all digital streaming platforms via Circus Records.
Building off the momentum from the release of lead singles from earlier this Spring, the ‘Insomnia 2’ EP offers a cohesive soundscape that’s reflective of Gl0bal’s signature bass and trap sound. Opening with the first lead single, ‘WYN’ effortlessly primes listeners’ for the magnitude of the EP with all the sensibilities of a trap classic. The second lead single ‘Believe’ features hauntingly ethereal vocals perfectly paired in conjunction with nefarious synths and hefty bass drops. The next offering from ‘Insomnia 2’ features emotive vocals from Gaby Borromeo, a previous contestant from NBC’s hit show The Voice. Gl0bal proves his versatility and highlights Borromeo’s enchanting voice with a mesmerizingly smooth bassline in the third single, ‘Darkness’. The EP seamlessly transitions into the fourth single ‘My Will’, another heavy trap offering from Gl0bal. Destined to light up any club post-quarantine, ‘My Will’ is commanding in nature with a thundering bassline and a stimulating rap overlay. The final track on ‘Insomnia 2’ offers a stirring sonic masterpiece for listeners. In collaboration with Alex Cortes, ‘Tonight’ blends the finest elements from Gl0bal’s distinctive sound with soulful vocals and a profound bassline.
“This project is really important to me because I feel like it showcases my individual story and sound as well as serving as a second chapter for ‘Insomnia’ The records on the EP are pretty personal to me and I hope listeners will be able to hear how my sound is continuing to evolve when listening to ‘Insomnia 2’.”Gl0bal

With each subsequent release in Gl0bal’s catalog, the Canadian producer continues to prove his dexterity and studio prowess. The genre-blending producer has dabbled in various bass-centric subgenres with each of his records showcasing his evolving signature sound. Over the course of his venerated career, the British Columbia native has received praise from industry tastemakers such as Excision, DJ Snake, Dillon Francis, The Chainsmokers, and many more. After signing to Flux Pavillion’s imprint Circus Records in 2019, Gl0bal released his esteemed ‘Insomnia’ EP and positioned himself as an artist to watch in the upcoming year.

Serving as the second chapter to the ‘Insomnia’ project, Gl0bal’s ‘Insomnia 2’ reflects on his expanding aptitude as a producer while telling a personal story from Gl0bal. Each record on the EP emulates a unique story while luring the listener in with powerful basslines and skillful production.
