Dutch producer & DJ Maduk (real name Mark van der Schoot) has delivered his brand new three-track EP featuring singles “Go” (feat. Lachi), “Coming Down”, and “Go” (Instrumental).
Released on his very own Liquicity Records label, the three releases showcase Maduk’s versatility as a producer. “Go”, the EP opener, utilizes a liquid drum & bass/pop crossover sound, led by the soaring vocals of New York songstress Lachi, who has previously written for the likes of Snoop Dogg andMarkus Schulz.
“I started working on ‘Go’ one year ago and the instrumental gave me so much energy and happiness right away,” recalls Maduk. “I have never recorded this many brass instruments (trumpet, saxophone, trombone, tuba) for a track before, so it’s very exciting!”
Using a deeper and more hollow range of bass stabs on “Coming Down”, the track displays Maduk’s club-focused side, producing a d&b anthem perfectly crafted for festival mainstages.
Growing his Liquicity brand alongside fellow Amsterdam-based creative, Maris Goudzwaard, the pair have since transformed the imprint into a full-fledged label and event brand, hosting a yearly three-day weekend festival that welcomes more than 10,000 visitors from 60+ nationalities. The label has also provided a platform for a wealth of bass music’s finest talents, including Netsky, Fox Stevenson, High Contrast, Matrix & Futurebound, and many more.
Having performed across the world at major festivals such as Sziget, Dour, Lowlands, Laundry Day,Rampage, We Are Electric, Let It Roll and Paaspop, Maduk’s work is focused on delivering euphoric, feel good sounds and spreading positivity to crowds, no matter the size.
“Go” (feat. Lachi), “Coming Down”, and “Go” (Instrumental) are now available worldwide on all streaming platforms.
