GORGON CITY – READY FOR YOUR LOVE FT MNEK

As Gorgon City glide towards the release of their hotly anticipated single “Ready For Your Love”, the pair have shared a live studio session of the track featuring co-writer and vocalist, MNEK. The video was premiered on Noisey last week – you can watch it here.

Acting as a warm up before the official music video hits the web, the session zooms listeners into the two-stepping gravity surrounded by a flurry of impressive equipment using a collection of Go Pro cameras.

‘Ready For Your Love’ further establishes Gorgon City’s ability in capturing stunning performances from their collaborators. MNEK’s soaring soulful delivery marries perfectly with the duo’s signature production touches, bringing together the beatific agility of two-step with the gravity and resonance of deep house, dropping into an instantly addictive chorus hook.

Since premiering as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’ earlier this month, the hotly tipped number has been a mainstay on the airwaves and picking up regular plays from Radio 1, 1Xtra and others.

It continues the impressive conveyor belt of stunning bass-driven records following electrifying collaborations with Yasmin on “Real” and Clean Bandit (“Intentions”). All of which are elevating excitement levels for the start of 2014 and beyond.

Ready For Your Love ft MNEK is out 20th Jan 2014
