GORGON CITY – UNMISSABLE

Having scored two Top 10 hits with their recent singles ‘Ready For Your Love’ feat. MNEK and ‘Here For You’ feat. Laura Welsh, plus a third with them in the production seat on Jess Glynne’s ‘Right Here’, Gorgon City are pleased to announce details of their next surefire smash and plans for their eagerly awaited debut album.

Continuing their run of exceptionally hooky and danceable smart pop hits, ‘Unmissable’ featuring rising star Zak Abel will lead the charge into the release of Gorgon City’s debut album ‘Sirens’ on October 6.  A co-write between Matt & Kye and a songwriter with a recent hit or two of his own under his belt – Jimmy Napes (Disclosure’s ‘Latch’, Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be’, Sam Smith’s ‘Stay With Me’  – to name just a few) – ‘Unmissable’ is the perfect way to see out the summer.

Gorgon City kicked off their summer with their first ever live show performing to 8000 people at Radio 1’s Big Weekend featuring live performances from Kiesza, Maverick Sabre, MNEK.  They continued apace by heading to Glastonbury and have shows at Reading & Leeds, Global Gathering and Bestival forthcoming as well as a hectic schedule mapped out in front of them across Europe. Look out for news of an extensive tour this autumn.

‘Sirens’ – the full album from Gorgon City – will include all previous hit singles (NB ‘Ready For Your Love’ has now accumulated over 26 million streams) as well as a remarkable collection of new tracks that unequivocally mark Matt & Kye out as being at the very peak of their writing and production prowess. ‘Sirens’ is a brilliantly cohesive piece of music that perfectly reflects the exciting UK dance pop climate we find ourselves in for 2014 – with Gorgon City firmly at the helm.
