Unclear Records founders Easy To Remember return to their imprint mid-July with their ‘Got A Botta’ EP, comprising three originals from the Italian duo.
Brothers Niro and Elia Perrone aka Easy To Remember and their Unclear imprint have been steadily gathering a strong following with the label welcoming the likes of Move D, Fred P, Christopher Rau, Roman Fluegel and Baby Ford onto it’s roster while the duo debut LP release in 2016 on Unclear saw them picking up praise from the likes of Charles Webster, Mystic Bill, Tom Trago, Italojohnson and Doc Martin. Now returning to Unclear for the first time since their album ‘Pescaiola’, Easy To Remember turn in three of their soul-infused house style with the ‘Bot A Gotta’ EP.
Up first is the title track, laying the foundations with breaks samples, vintage rave stabs and moog style resonant synth licks before ‘Water Break’ strips things back, laying focus on wandering acid lines, a heavily swung rhythm, snaking bass grooves and warm chord sequences.
‘Vibe This’ then rounds out the package, retaining a similarly retro house influence via an amalgamation of ethereal pads, flute and marimba style synth sounds alongside the pairs signature raw and energetic drum style.
Easy To Remember’s ‘Got A Botta’ EP is out on 12th July 2017.
