One of the most respected and forward-thinking producers in Drum & Bass, Grafix has released his long-anticipated second solo album Don’t Slow Down, a defining body of work.
Arriving after a landmark 7-month campaign, Don’t Slow Down marks a bold step forward UK drum & bass act, combining refined production, emotive songwriting and dancefloor energy across a record that cements Grafix as a central figure in the next generation of Drum & Bass.
Following the success of his debut solo album Half Life (2022), which has since amassed over 36 million streams and saw sold-out runs of vinyl and merch, this latest project sees Grafix level up across all fronts, from sound design and storytelling to stage production and global reach.
The album campaign kicked off with ‘We’re On Fire’ ft. Madishu, an explosive re-introduction that lit up streaming platforms with over 3 million streams. The track earned the cover spot on Spotify’s Massive Drum & Bass playlist, and was championed on BBC Radio 1’s New Music Show by Jack Saunders.
Next came ‘Vital Signs’ ft. Nu-La, a euphoric roller showcasing Grafix’s melodic finesse. It received a First Play on BBC Radio 1 and quickly climbed to 1.5 million streams, resonating with both core fans and new listeners alike.
The title track ‘Don’t Slow Down’ followed as a clear campaign highlight, earning Jack Saunders’ ‘Hottest Record’ on BBC Radio 1, reaching #17 on the Shazam UK Dance Chart, and climbing to #5 on the Beatport Drum & Bass Top 100. It marked a peak moment in the campaign, solidifying the album’s growing momentum.
Fourth single ‘Let Me Down’ ft. ROVA proved a DJ and radio favourite, racking up 10+ plays across BBC Radio 1, being named ‘Drop Of The Week’ by Charlie Tee, added to the George FM playlist, and hitting #1 on Beatport’s Drum & Bass Top 100. It was also spotlighted by Charlie Hedges on her Track2Track show.
The final single before the full album, ‘Memories (Us Together)’ with Raphaella, brings a deep emotional resonance to the project. Layered with lush vocals and cinematic textures, the track is already gathering momentum as fans embrace the full scope of the album, with support from Jack Saunders & Charlie Tee on BBC Radio 1, as well as on the Capital Dance Online D&B Essentials Playlist.
Released today, the album’s focus track ‘Drift Away’ ft. WHAT EVA was premiered on George FM’s Breakfast Show with a feature interview from Grafix, and has already landed editorial support across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon & YouTube with additional support from tastemaker channels UKF & Liquicity.
To celebrate the release, Grafix will headline a full audio-visual album launch show in London’s No. 90 on 17 October. The show marks a milestone in his live journey, blending his new music with a full-scale immersive experience, and will feature a host of VIP guests joining him on stage to celebrate the album’s release.
He also embarks on an extensive international tour, with dates across the UK, Europe, USA, and Australia, including major appearances at Creamfields, Hospitality on the Beach, Liquicity, and The Warehouse Project.
