Gramophonedzie’s new track ‘Feels Like Love’ is released on the 23rd of March. At the end of 2012 Serbian DJ and producer Marko Milicevic aka Gramophonedzie came to another major crossroads in his career. After two successful worldwide tours on major stages, fuelled by the global success of his anthem “Why Don’t You”, which crossed over on mainstream charts and radios, ensuring him global fame and record deal with major label as well as MTV music award, he decided to go back to his roots. Those are bound to Chicago jackin’ house, though the best selling releases such as “Brazilian”, “Number One” or “No Sugar” (ft. Joey Negro) prove his sound is much more eclectic.
‘Feels Like Love’ is the debut release on his new imprint ‘Gramo Recordings’ giving people a taste of what’s to come.
He has also been working on an exciting new project ‘Gramophonedzie Live Experience’ bringing together some of the best musicians of his home country, combining his distinctive style with a twist. With most of his best tracks being based on a jazz standards they deserve to be played live to further appreciate them. Gramophonedzie Live Experience will do this by bridging the gap between the club and band by giving life to Gramophonedzie’s club productions in a live band setting. The 7-piece band brings together vocals, drums, guitar, sax, keys, percussion and Gramophonedzie on hybrid live production/DJ duties to create a unique and one of a kind musical experience.
