Green George Delivers Soulful Two-Track Organic House EP on Déepalma

Australian DJ and producer Green George makes his highly anticipated return to Déepalma Records this summer with a captivating two-tracker that blurs the line between dancefloor drive and introspective depth. Landing on August 22, 2025, the release brings together two distinct yet complementary cuts: ‘Power Over Me’ and ‘Up For Air’ (with Timmy Nelson).

A familiar name on the imprint following standout EPs For You / Gathie and Ofana Nawe / See You, Green George has built a reputation for blending immersive melodies with forward-thinking grooves. Alongside his studio work, he’s become a go-to artist in Perth, performing at major events including Claptone’s The Masquerade, Elrow’s Psychedelic Trip, and Carl Cox Presents PURE, sharing stages with heavyweights like Carl Cox, CamelPhat, and Hot Since 82.

Opening the release, ‘Power Over Me’ sets the tone with a powerful and emotive energy. Male-led vocals, delicate female adlibs, shimmering pianos, soaring arpeggios, and rich synth layers combine to deliver a late-night roller that balances intensity with introspection.

In contrast, ‘Up For Air’ drifts into more contemplative terrain. Teaming up with multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Timothy Nelson (aka Timmy Nelson), the track offers a meditative, textured journey, weaving dreamy instrumentation with Nelson’s unmistakable melodic sensibility. The result is a soundscape that feels expansive yet intimate—perfect for warm evenings and open-air sessions.

With both tracks, Green George once again demonstrates his flair for organic house storytelling, pairing deep emotional resonance with dancefloor functionality. The EP arrives as a soundtrack for the season, echoing the spirit of late summer nights under the stars.

Green George – Power Over Me / Up For Air (Déepalma Records) is out August 22, 2025 on all major platforms.
