Groove Cruise Miami 2019: New Artists/Stages & DJ Contest Announced

Announcing the latest additions to an already stellar cast, Groove Cruise is pleased to reveal two brand new stages for the highly anticipated 15th anniversary event. Sailing off on the luxurious Celebrity Infinity from January 10th – 14th, 2019, the epic party will see Belgian producer Lost Frequencies bring his ‘Lost Frequencies & Friends’ stage to the cruise, with Swiss melody master EDX delivering his own lineup to the ‘No Xcuses’ stage. With the likes of Sean Tyas, Sons of Maria, Monoverse and Kryomanalso joining in on the non-stop festivities, Groove Cruise Miami 2019 is shaping up to be the brand’s biggest celebration to date. 

Featuring the best in house, trance and techno, the monumental 15th anniversary lineup already includes a wealth of the hottest names in electronic music. Show-stopping headliners include critically-acclaimed Chicago-bred EDM superstar Kaskade, Egyptian trance duo Aly & Fila, Yorkshire-based house/techno phenom Hot Since 82, Detroit house legend MK (Marc Kinchen), German-born, Miami-based icon Markus Schulz, and Irish trance extraordinaire Simon Patterson.

Voyaging to two stunning destinations this January—the tropical island paradise of Cozumel, Mexicoand for the first time, the sun-soaked city of Key West, Florida—the beloved #GCFam will embark on a festival experience like no other, with themed parties, no curfew, more than 50 DJs, and 96 hours of non-stop electronic music. Among the first passenger cruise vessels to be powered by smokeless turbine engines, the premium 2,170-passenger Celebrity Infinity is elegantly themed with its iconic three-level foyer grand staircase and sophisticated decor, including a casino, basketball court, jogging track, indoor solarium and pool. In celebration of the 15th anniversary event, Groove Cruise is thrilled to announce a unique contest presented by DJ Mag that will offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to an aspiring DJ. One lucky winner will not only receive a free ocean-view stateroom plus airfare for two (an over $3,000 value!), but entrants can also win the chance to spin onboard the Groove Cruise Miami decks alongside some of the world’s top dance music artists. The contest begins November 20th and ends December 13th at midnight EST, followed by the top finalists getting their mixes personally evaluated by guest judges and GrooveCruise DJs Markus Schulz, Simon Patterson, EDX, Roger Sanchez, Sean Tyas, BlackGummy, and Liquid Todd! The winner will be announced on December 18th, 2018.
