Groove-Heavy and Vocal-Driven: ‘El Lazo’ Lands via Tres 14 Music

Shawn Jackson links up with Sofi Moon for ‘El Lazo:’ out now via his label, Tres 14 Music. Fresh off the back of their joint project, the ‘WHOA’ EP, the pair reunite with a new single that reflects their shared vision for groove-led music – delivering another track where intricate percussion and irresistible motifs combine.

With shared influences and complementary creative visions, Shawn Jackson and Sofi Moon come together in a way that feels both seamless and organic – continuing to collaborate on new music as they build momentum and explore a new chapter of artistic partnership. Through this latest single, listeners can experience their creative synergy in a way that feels cohesive and original, discovering a soundscape defined by a unique blend of Tech and Afro House flair, together with hints of uplifting Latin soul.

For Sofi Moon, ‘El Lazo’ marks a step forward in her artistry; as she incorporates her own vocals, she explores a new dimension of her craft, revealing the depth and versatility of her creativity. At the same time, Shawn Jackson’s signature sound remains present, woven into the track in a similarly engaging way.

In ‘El Lazo,’ a tight, crisp groove is established early on, forming a strong rhythmic foundation through its pounding beat, driving bassline and shuffled percussive work. Then, Sofi Moon’s expressive vocals add a layer of captivating charm to the production, enriching the mix as conga-like drum progressions and energetic shakers maintain the overall Latin feel of the track, keeping the journey moving forward whilst further details continue to weave in. The sweeping, staggering synths, catchy horn motif and soft piano line deliver melodic nuance to the track, combining with the high-impact rhythms to create a sense of balance and maintain a well-paced flow throughout the production.

The result is a sonic experience that feels dynamic and immersive: another strong entry to the growing catalogues of both Shawn Jackson and Sofi Moon.

With ‘El Lazo,’ both Shawn Jackson and Sofi Moon highlight the next steps in their individual journeys; for Shawn, the release comes as a new addition to his label Tres 14 Music, just one of the four labels the Producer and DJ heads, whereas for Sofi Moon, the track represents a natural progression after her debut EP, helping to solidify her emerging artistic identity on the Electronic Music scene.

So, keep up with both Shawn Jackson and Sofi Moon for updates on future projects, new releases, and upcoming performances. Their single, ‘El Lazo,’ is out now via Tres 14 Music and available to stream and download across all major platforms.
