GROOVE ODYSSEY: HOUSE LEGENDS

Having celebrated their 4th Birthday in November, 2014 promises to be even bigger and better as Groove Odyssey continues into its fifth year rocking London with buzzing sell-out parties across town. Opening their 2014 account at the cosmopolitan cub setting of Pacha, on Saturday 1st February, Groove Odyssey: House Legends sees the legendary Nu Yorican vocal diva, India, flying in from Puerto Rico for an Exclusive Live Show alongside Baltimore’s finest, DJ Spen, plus the cream of UK soulful house DJs with Bobby & Steve Zoo, Neil Pierce (Afrodisiax) and radio station, House FM.net.

Returning for his second bout of ‘House Legends’ magic, is Baltimore’s DJ Spen from Quantize Records and Muthafunkaz, with a guaranteed dose of dance floor mayhem. Without doubt one of the most influential DJs and producers of his generation, and a true doyen of spiritual house music, Spen’s extensive discography of original productions, killer remixes, and distinctive DJ sets have kept him in huge demand on the International dance floors. His recent releases include ‘The Supernatural EP” and Tracy Hamlin’s ‘Home’. With full support from London’s very own, Neil Pierce, making his debut appearance for Groove Odyssey, alongside the pioneers of true soulful house in the UK, Groove Odyssey residents, Bobby & Steve Zoo. 

Flying in for an Exclusive appearance Groove Odyssey welcome back the original voice of New York’s ground-breaking Masters At Work duo, the legendary latin diva,India,  performing seminal hits such as ‘To Be In Love’, ‘I Can’t Get No Sleep’, ‘Backfired’, and ‘Love & Happiness’. India has a massive underground following with both new and old House fans alike, who continue to play her classic songs to this day. A truly unique and original NY House vocal star, India’s Live show has got to be experienced to be believed with its riveting emotion and passion.

Room 2 showcases the sound of 80’s & 90’s Soul, RnB and Boogie headlined by Sammy Confunktion and LLoyd Life, whilst in Room 3 it’s classic, deep and dirty house hosted by London’s favourite underground house station, housefm.net
