Groovefest Malta Phase 1: Kerri Chandler, Apollonia, Kolsch, MK, Hot Since 82 + many more

After gaining a global reputation for its luxury minded mentality and penchant for paradise in its Dominican Republic edition, Groovefest brings its otherworldly experience closer to home by making a move to Malta. From April 29th to May 1st 2016, this escapist’s dream will disembark onto new shores, maintaining the model created by the festival itself for the ultimate music holiday. An adult’s only, all access yet affordable playground, everyone is a VIP at Groovefest, with every experience exclusive and refined.
 
The newest member of the Groovefest family promises to be a blissful getaway of uncompromising beats, courtesy of the best DJs on the world circuit. Serious about the sentiments of a now by-gone era, where the music and moving to it was all that mattered, Groovefest Malta’s opening night features a specially curated session from DJ Mag, where the audience will shuffle side-by-side with house music heroes Apollonia.
 
A selectivity central to Groovefest, the weekend will show off the biggest brands of the dance world at Malta’s Café Del Mar and Gianpula. From a DJ Mag Sessions launch event with Apollonia and D’Julz, day parties with Kaoz Theory featuring Kerri Chandler, Detroit Swindle and Chez Damier and Defected featuring label Don MK and Dame Sam Divine, and Hot Since 82’s very own Knee Deep In Sound night event with Matthias Tanzmann, Guti and Cristoph, the Maltese edition kicks off at full sail with the Godfathers of the scene guiding it on the right course.
