Andrew Beat - Grown EP

Italian producer Andrew Beat drops the tenth release on PAWSA and Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves Records with label favourite Dennis Cruz providing the remix.

Growing up in Milan, cut his teeth DJing as a teenager at many of the city’s key clubs before working with renowned venue Amnesia Milano. More than a decade later, Beat has released on the likes of Snatch!, Natural Rhythm, Hustler Muzik and Skullbusted. He now appears on seminal imprint Solid Grooves Records precisely a year after its launch, joining a formidable roster spanning Dennis Cruz, Wade, ONNO and Reelow.

Deep and percussive from the off, ‘Grown’ combines a heady rhythm with twisted female vocal samples and rumbling bass tones, before Dennis Cruz provides a low-slung rendition of his own that incorporates syncopated drums and a killer groove. Last up, ‘Dogma’ ups the energy with crunchy snares and a rumbling bassline assembled with the dancefloor in mind.
