Gryffin Taps Billen Ted & Jerro To Remix ‘LAST OF US’

Dance music maverick Gryffin has enlisted melodic house producer Jerro and DJ duo Billen Ted to remix his recent single ‘LAST OF US’ featuring internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Rita Ora.

Offering two new reworks primed for dancefloors around the globe, Jerro and Billen Ted have uplifted the universality of Gryffin and Rita Ora’s heartwarming dance-pop collaboration. Draping his remix with mesmerizing minimal elements, Jerro transforms ‘LAST OF US’ with cinematic builds and soft, synth-led breaks that keep in line with the euphoric nature of Gryffin’s original. Billen Ted bring a complimentary style that cloaks ‘LAST OF US’ in dark deep-tech tones, surrounding Ora’s vocals with saturated synths and thumping percussion.

“I was so excited to hear that Gryffin and Rita Ora asked me to remix their new track! I got to work on it immediately and was absolutely loving it from the start. I’m a big fan of the original and I’m super stoked with how the remix turned out. Can’t wait to play this one out live.” – Jerro

Japanese-American producer, instrumentalist, songwriter, and DJ Dan Griffith has built a breathtaking catalog of melodic, lyrically-led dance originals and remixes as Gryffin. His platinum and gold-certified discography features collaborations with crossover acts like OneRepublic, Tinashe, MØ, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Aloe Blacc, as well as electronic contemporaries including Kygo, Gorgon City, and Seven Lions. In 2019, Gryffin released his stunning debut Gravity, with his sophomore album Alive following in 2022.

This year, Gryffin will launch into his PULSE era, and bring the album to life with performances at renowned electronic festivals like EDC Las Vegas and the return of his Wynn Nightlife residency.  The ‘LAST OF US’ remixes arrive following Gryffin’s recent collaborative single ‘What Took You So Long’ with trance legend Armin Van Buuren.
