At the forefront of UK house music and long term friends, Hannah Wants and Jess Bays have joined forces this summer for the groove-fuelled stomper, I Don’t Know featuring vocalist Jennifer Jamieson, out now on Stress Records.
Long term friends and amazing producers in their own right, Hannah Wants and Jess Bays have a proven track record for creating universally respected electronic music. I Don’t Know is no exception with a contagiously catchy bassline, tight drums, classic house pads, and a simple yet hooky vocal. The end result is a vintage, yet freshly polished sound that’ll effortlessly get the party started.
“I’m so excited for this release with Hannah and Jennifer to drop! This past year has really given a lot of us the chance to collaborate with other artists that we may not usually have been able to. We’ve had time to recalibrate, breathe and just focus on being creative! This is my first go at a proper club record and it’s an honour to do it with someone as influential as Hannah. Jennifer absolutely killed it with the top line too – such a super catchy hook!” – – Jess Bays
Hannah Wants has played to sell out crowds across the world, with seamless soundtracks of tech house weapons including her own anthems, such as Call Me and Never Gonna Tell You. On top of an abundance of releases on the likes of Ultra Music, Armada, Positiva, her own imprint Etiquette and more, Hannah Wants has recently begun a new Saturday night weekly residency on the UK’s famed KISS FM. Recently announced as a presenter on Capital Dance, Jess Bays has gained incredible momentum in the last twelve months, returning to Stress Records after her big hitter Back & Forth and remixes for chart topping records from Rudimental, Becky Hill and Owen Westlake.
