Last month, Australian producer/DJ HARLEY GIRL dropped the infectious single ‘Gimme !’, teasing that more new music was just around the corner. This week, he’s delivering on that promise with ‘The Music’ — the title track from his upcoming EP, due out this December.
“The Music is the first harley track I’ve written and recorded my own vocals on. I had a version of the instrumental I kept coming back to and had tried a heap of other vocals on it that I couldn’t quite get sitting right.
I started with these kinds of funny lyrics about UFO’s and chatbots, and how sort of unhinged the world feels to me at the moment. It all fell into place with the chorus lyrics which are about how music can be a form of momentary reprieve from that craziness. “ ~ HARLEY GIRL
‘The Music’ is out now on all streaming platforms, setting the tone for an EP that promises to be as bold and offbeat as its creator.
