22nd September 2017 sees Ibiza Icon and Wow! Recordings’ label boss Mar-T team up with the established UK-based DJ/producer Betoko to release their forthcoming EP entitled, ‘Harry’s EP’, via Steve Lawler’s iVAV Recordings.
The stunning two-track package follows on from the dynamic duo’s previous releases including; ‘Laughing Gas’ in 2010 (OKO Recordings) plus their remixes of Da Fresh’s ‘Broken Dream’ (Fusion Recordings) and Mark Knight & Funkagenda ‘Man With The Red Face’ (Toolroom) in 2008.
The EP’s lead track, ‘Harry Got Some Moves’, is the opener, featuring; numerous looped-up and manipulated vocal samples, a gated chord texture, punchy percussive elements and spiralling synths that dart in and out of the driving 7-minute Tech House number.
‘La Chancla Peluda’ follows on and concludes the EP by treading on similar territory to the aforementioned opener, encompassing; a steady 4/4 Tech House groove, an arpeggiated synth bassline, dramatic sound effects and a bleepy topline.
‘Harry’s EP’ is available exclusively via Beatport on 22nd September and everywhere else two weeks later.
