Headhunterz announces North American ‘EXPLODE’ Tour

Headhunterz is bringing Hardstyle to America. The forthcoming Explode tour will see the Dutch DJ cross North America, uniting a new generation of dance music fans whose passion drives them towards the harder styles of dance music.

A true ambassador for Hardstyle, and a pioneering live act, Headhunterz is one of EDM’s fastest rising stars, he crashed the DJ Mag top 100 poll in 2012 coming in at #11, and his singular approach has made him a global figurehead for the growing Hardstyle movement. After playing mainstage slots at all three North American EDC events this year, the Explode tour is the perfect platform for Headhunterz to show America why he has the rest of the world buzzing.

The first Hardstyle artist to sign with a major US label, Ultra Music, Headhunterz just released his track ‘Colors’. Its quintessential Headhunterz, with soaring melodies and an infectious vocal hook, underpinned by classic Hardstyle rhythms and basslines. ‘Colors’ has already broken into Holland’s top 5 on iTunes, as well as topping the Beatport Hard Dance chart and becoming a Hardstyle.com No.1 in less than an hour.

The ‘EXPLODE’ tour will see Headhunterz performing on the series of dates alongside a selection of guests, kicking off at the Starlight Ballroom, Philadelphia on September 19th and culminating at the Concord Music Hall in Chicago on October 13th.

Willem Rebergen, AKA Headhunterz, has been the vanguard of Hardstyle’s growth into the popular dance music scene around the globe over recent years. Having emerged from his native country as a leading proponent of hard dance, he has continued to infiltrate international consciousness with a series of hit releases and increasingly sought after shows and festival performances.

The Explode tour is the latest landmark in a hectic 2013 so far for Headhunterz. Having signed a new record deal with leading independent label Ultra Music, launched his own Hard with Style record label and continued to tour tirelessly on both sides of the Atlantic, September will see him embark on his largest string of shows yet in North America. Between the ‘Colors’ single and this tour it signals an extremely busy period ahead for Headhunterz as he continues to win fans on an increasingly large international scale with his powerful productions and high octane sets.
