Although a highly accomplished musician, Rapson is fairly new to the House music scene. Following 2 remixes for Christian B & Lavvy Levan on Friday Fox Recordings, Rapson was bitten by the House bug and an EP of his own was imminent. Teaming up with vocalists Nathan Thomas and Holly Petrie, Rapson unleashes a 4 track gem titled 'Heat EP'. Carrying a wide focus, touching on multiple sub-genres of House Music and underpinned by Jazz and Funk undercurrents, 'Heat EP' marks one helluva an intro to the House Music fraternity!
"I've got to hand it to Friday Fox for giving me time to really find my sound. This has been an interesting journey, delving into the unknown to see what Rapson sounds like in the context of House music. I'm lucky to be working with two superb vocalists in Holly Petrie and Nathan Thomas, and to have Loren Hignell's soulful sax playing too. This EP takes inspiration from everything soulful that I hear in House music and beyond. It comes from the heart and was made with love in a time where we need more love in the world." -Rapson
