Heavy weights Oliver Nelson & Richard Judge team up on ‘I Wonder’

Swedish super producer, Oliver Nelson and ‘Show Me Love’ singer, Richard Judge, come together on the powerful new single ‘I Wonder’. An energetic and perfectly moody future house anthem, Oliver’s quality production is perfectly matched with Richard’s soulful vocals that have featured on huge tracks the world over. With accolades between them including Oliver’s mammoth remix of The Wombats ‘Greek Tragedy’ (1.8b TikTok views) and Richard laying down vocals on the Beatport #1 ‘Ruckus’ by Tube & Berger, this new single has all the right ingredients to be served up as an end of summer hit.

Oliver Nelson first burst onto the scene with a series of high-profile nu disco remixes before Polydor snapped up his debut single ‘Found Your Love’ in 2016. Now with over 650 million global streams to his name, Nelson is the brains behind high profile remixes for NEIKED, Ella Henderson, Kesha, Joel Corry and many more. His infectious bootleg of The Wombats ‘Greek Tragedy’ went viral on TikTok in 2021, seven years after Nelson originally uploaded it, in 2021, featuring in over 430,000 videos, and culminated in an official release on 14th Floor Music.

Nelson is a master in the studio, evident in collaborations with Kygo on ‘Riding Shotgun’ (Sony) and on big house productions on the label that discovered him, Perfect Havoc, including standouts, ‘Is It Real?’, ‘Something ‘Bout The Music’ and ‘All Of Me’. Ever pushing the envelope, Nelson launched electro-pop group Moodshift alongside Grammy-winner, Lucas Nord, and vocalist, flyckt, and remains in demand as a remixer with a huge official rework for Donna Summer now under his belt.

As a DJ, Nelson has toured all over the world touching down at Ushuaia, Tomorrowland, FNGRS CRSSD, Kitsune, Brooklyn Mirage, Village Underground and 1015 Folsom.

Singer, DJ and producer, Richard Judge has collaborated with some of dance music’s biggest stars, including Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Benny Benassi and Laidback Luke. The Londoner has weaved his way through both underground and commercial success, with multiple Beatport No.1s and the multi-platinum No.1 record with Robin Schulz’ ‘Show Me Love’.

Most recently in 2023, his single with Einmusik ‘I’ll Follow’ was the highest new entry on the German Club Charts, whilst ‘Single Summer’ with PS1 was simultaneously playlisted on KISS FM in the UK and featured on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems.

As a performer Richard Judge – “the DJ that sings” – has performed on some of the world’s biggest dance stages including Streetparade, Ushuaia and Pacha Ibiza, the World Club Dome in Germany, and most recently on the mainstage of Tomorrowland, performing recent single ‘Under My Skin’ with Korolova, released via Tomorrowland Music. With upcoming releases with the likes of Eli & Fur, HOSH, and Henrik Schwarz, Judge is ready to bring his unique DJ show with live vocals to the clubs.

‘I Wonder’ is another quality release for Perfect Havoc. Shortlisted for Best Independent Record Label at the 2023 Music Week Awards, Perfect Havoc’s niche of crossover dance alongside club-focused sounds has accumulated over 10 billion global streams and given rise to six UK Top 20 singles and multiple platinum, gold, and silver awards.

Keep an ear out for more Perfect Havoc releases in 2023 with cuts also from Ros-T, Tobtok & farfetch’d, James Hurr, Stephani B & Movada, and many more.
