Hedex Added to Boundary Brighton 2024 as Festival Unveils 3 Afterparties
Boundary Brighton Festival returns to Stanmer Park on 28th September with its biggest and best-ever line-up. Now added to the already stacked bill are the innovative sounds of new school drum & bass star, Hedex, while three separate after-parties are also revealed to take over venues The Arch, Patterns and Volks, with headliners Denis Sulta, Ewan McVicar and Basstripper going back-to-back with Crossy. Boundary Brighton is the ultimate finale of the UK festival season and is the last chance to party outdoors this summer. Afterparty tickets are now available from www.boundarybrighton.com starting at £7+bf or for £11+bf, grab a multi-venue ticket and bounce across all three venues throughout the night.
Boundary Festival is the last hurrah of the 2024 festival season so is an epic way to shut down summer with a big and bassy bang. It’s a celebration of all things electronic that offers first-class production, high-spec sound systems, great stage designs and a wide array of hard-hitting sounds across a wide stylistic spectrum.
Jump-up drum & bass star Hedex is a fine new addition who replaces Shy FX after the bass legend pulled out of numerous shows, citing personal reasons for his decision in an Instagram story last month. To the Boundary Main Stage, Hedex brings his refreshing take on pounding bass and infectious rhythms that has seen him explode onto the world stage. His music on labels like EMI, DnB Allstars and Atlantic has made its way into the record bags of globally influential stars like Tiesto while he has played every major club and festival in Europe in recent times.
Hedex joins a bill that already includes Wilkinson, Songer, K Motionz, Flowdan, Harriet Jaxxon, Denis Sulta, Joy (Anonymous), Ewan McVicar, Eliza Rose, Friction, Serum, Sota, Badger and many more who will play across four different stages, all with MC hosts and several special guests.
As if a whole day of dancing at Boundary Festival wasn’t enough, the fun can now be extended well into the next day with three of the festival’s key acts stepping up to deliver even more tunes for the hardcore ravers at leading local Brighton venues.
At The Arch from 11pm – 5am is Scottish party starter, rule breaker and fearless selector, Denis Sulta, who will play anything from trance to techno to pop so long as it gets the dance floor bouncing. There will be no festival blues when Sulta is in the booth.
At Patterns from 11pm – 4am will be fellow Scot, Ewan McVicar, an electrifying DJ and award-winning producer who has very much risen to the top in recent times and now leads from the front with his bold mix of house and techno.
Finally, at Volks from 11pm – 7am will be a special coming together of two top talents. Basstripper b2b Crossy is sure to be a cutting-edge drum & bass showcase with rolling grooves and potent synths sure to make a lasting impact at this final official after-party.
The scene is now set and the countdown is on to one superb last serving of bass-flavoured festival fun at Boundary Brighton 2024. Full festival tickets are still available from £52.50 + bf which can be secured now with just a £10 deposit, with the balance due by 18th September. Or grab a crew and buy four for the price of three. Available from www.boundarybrighton.com.
