Helena – Levity (Merk & Kremont Remix)

Dubbed by DMC World as one of the most exciting producers of the moment, Helena’s summer anthem ‘Levity’ featured the smooth vocals of renowned house vocalist Shawnee Taylor and peaked at number 7 in the Beatport charts. Now, hotly tipped newcomers Merk & Kremont are on remix duties, with their rendition set for release on 28th July through Ultra Records.

Maintaining the power of the original, the Italian based duo intensify ‘Helena’ by using a pulsating metallic synth. Climaxing with the brash, low pitched bass line, Shawnee Taylor’s vocal uplifts the remix to make Merk & Kremont’s club construction a serious main room contender.

Storming onto the music scene in 2012, Merk & Kremont have hit the ground running, earning a solid name for themselves amongst their peers and with a score of powerful tracks behind them, it’s no surprise that they are one of the most exciting acts around. Still hot off the heels of the successes of ‘Anubi’ and ‘Amen,’ which notably caught attention as the first track from Steve Angello’s main stage set at Ultra Music Festival, their affiliation with Ultra Records continues to fuel their rapidly growing popularity within the scene.

Having received further support from the likes of Avicii, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Otto Knows, Fedde le Grand, Dannic, Danny Howard and more, keep an eye out for this progressive house duo as their remix of ‘Helena’ is sure to make an impact.
