Finnish indie, Youth Control has once again snapped up the hottest new school talents for its latest signing. Finnish pair Heal64 debut with the vocal house cut ‘Two’ alongside the hotly tipped UK singer-song-writer Jamie A. Primed to ignite dancefloors from its release on 4th August, Heal64 show they are a fast-rising duo to be reckoned with. Stream / download the ‘Two’ here https://youthcontrol.fanlink.to/YOU047.
When a DJ/producer meets with another who immediately shares similar tastes and influences, including the likes of Rufus Du Sol, Fred Again and Mall Grab; it can often be the start of something good. This was the case for Heal64 aka Milo and Aleski who met through a mutual friend. A meeting in the studio together saw them instantly cooking up the magic with the track ‘You’ that went on to be supported by Youth Control associate Roisto both in the club and on the radio.
Heal64 also added their unique mix of melodies and atmospheres to an unofficial remix of ‘Meitä Tulee Sattuu’ by the Finnish pop and R&B artist, Lauri Haav, who – impressed by their take – delighted in sharing it to his followers, throwing the Heal64 name out into the world.
On this new release, Heal64 links with Jamie A, a young but influential UK-based producer, singer and songwriter who has worked with the heavyweight likes of MJ Cole and Disclosure.
Their track ‘Two’ is a heartfelt house cut with deep, rich bass and big house beats. The bittersweet chords and tender vocal make it a truly emotive outing that cannot fail to make a big impact in the club both physically and emotionally.
Youth Control is on an unstoppable run right now, releasing hot tunes all year long from some of Finland’s most exciting talents, Per2, Rony Rex, Roisto, Smok, Noana and more from Heal64 too. Each one builds on the already growing reputation of this boutique label, publisher and party brand. Its refreshing house sound is ever popular with discerning DJs and has been played by the likes of Armand Van Helden, Steve Aoki, Todd Edwards and many more across BBC Radio 1.
