Henry Fong, JSTJR, & Ultimate Rejects Drop ‘Louder’

World-renowned DJ/producer Henry Fong and Group Chat label boss and Los Angeles-based artist JSTJR make their highly-anticipated return to the release radar for their latest collaborative offering ‘Louder’ alongside multifaceted triumvirate Ultimate Rejects. The latest single to come from Fong marks his fourth original production so far in 2021, and follows ‘Ragga Rave’, his track with SAYMYNAME from the tail end of this May, in addition to ‘Bust It’ with FOMO, released earlier this month. It also marks JSTJR and Ultimate Rejects’ first sonic offering of 2021, and serves as a direct follow-up to JSTJR and Fong’s 2020 hit ‘Arriba’, as well as his single ‘Que Lo Siento’ with Schade from April of last year. Out now on JSTJR’s Group Chat imprint Insomniac Music Group, ‘Louder’ is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

The propelling, high-octane tune immediately kicks off with a commanding vocal cut paired alongside rolling basslines and warbly soundscapes. Boasting an appropriately fitting name, ‘Louder’ prominently features speaker-rattling production elements and a larger-than-life ambiance from start-to-finish. The soca-infused offering also possesses an enticing bass house flair unlike anything heard before, in turn effortlessly highlighting all the best qualities of the genre while equally showcasing both Fong and JSTJR’s highly impressive production prowesses, as well as Ultimate Rejects’ solid sonic artistry. Overall, the sprightly endeavor is audibly characterized by its signature hard-hitting sensibilities, and serves as an anthemic, quintessential festival rinser out right in time for mid-summer raucous revelry.

“So stoked to put this single out with my friend JSTJR, we always have fun making music together. Also was fun working with Ultimate Rejects, extremely talented artists from Trinidad!” – Henry Fong
“Working with Henry Fong is always one of the best experiences. He came to me with this dope collab he was working on with Ultimate Rejects and I was able to put my own spin on it and add that moombah vibe. I was so impressed by the music and lyrics by the Ultimate Rejects- especially the break section half way through the song. The vibes are just perfect.” – JSTJR
ABOUT JSTJR — JSTJR is a globally revered artist who has been actively championing his own unique sonic creative vision since mid-2013. His remix of Colin Domigan’s ‘Guns & Drugs’ served as his debut in May of that year, and since then he has followed it up with zouk bass releases via Fool’s Gold, Mad Decent, Insomniac Records, and Monstercat, to name a few. Effortlessly mixing various genres together with ease, one can clearly hear hip-hop inspirations skillfully blended together throughout the majority of his bass-centric work. Over time, the Boston native has had his tracks receive staunch praise from Skrillex, Dillon Francis, Diplo, and A-Trak. He’s also been credited as an artist on ‘Light It Up’ via Major Lazer’s critically acclaimed 2015 ‘Peace Is The Mission’ EP.
ABOUT ULTIMATE REJECTS — Hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, Ultimate Rejects was formed as a soca group in 2015 to much critical acclaim. Over the years they’ve taken their beloved Caribbean sound and live performance act on tour, having played on the same stages as industry heavyweights the likes of DVBBS, Martin Garrix, Major Lazer, and R3HAB. ‘Louder’ directly follows up their 2020 hit remix of ‘Energy To Burn’ featuring eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt.
ABOUT HENRY FONG — Henry Fong is an unstoppable creative force hailing from West Palm Beach, Florida. Currently residing in Los Angeles, the Beatport chart-topping musician has consistently released hit-after-hit since emerging onto the electronic dance music landscape nearly ten years ago. Since, the venerated stalwart has had his immensely successful and acclaimed music come out on established imprints the likes of Spinnin’ Records, Diplo’s Mad Decent, Skrillex’s OWSLA, Sander van Doorn’s DOORN Records, Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, and his very-own Banzai Records. Additionally, he’s gained support from industry heavyweights such as Calvin Harris, Armin van Buuren, Knife Party, Tommy Trash, and many more.
