Already firmly established in Deep House circles and armed with an impressive roster of artists including John Randle, Javi Xavier and Boot Slap, UK's Proud Runs Deep label's latest release comes from exciting new signing, Gporn, who looks set for very big things indeed if debut release 'Hey Hey EP' is anything to go by. Due for release on October 3rd 2016, it's set to be a firm favourite for clubbers and DJ's alike.
Aside from throwing up some wrong, though rather interesting search results, not much is known about Gporn on the world wide web at this stage, but what is clear is the 'Hey Hey EP' will herald an explosive introduction into the electronic music underworld for this mysterious producer, and could well be one of Proud Runs Deep's biggest hits to date.
Taking clear inspiration from scenes such as UK Garage, Future Garage, Dance Hall and Bass, Gporn's 'Hey Hey EP' comprises of the equally club burning title track as well as hit cut, 'The Club', both of which are dripping with attitude and swagger. Stripped down vocal samples are spread perfectly over warped basslines and minimalist speaker-hammering kicks during the duration of both tracks, ensuring an element of class is maintained where some producers could have been tempted to over-kill similar productions.
A fine way to announce your arrival indeed and a release which will most certainly result in far more safe and accurate results of a Google search appearing in the not-too-distant. Gporn's 'Hey Hey EP' is out now on Proud Runs Deep, so be sure to snap it up.
