Cabaret Nocturne is back for his third EP on Join Our Club, and we think it is another perfect lesson in low-slung techno. First out the blocks is Hidden Gate; with its melodic synths this has hints of Balearic sunshine, but still with Cabaret Nocturne’s signature broody bassline. Outlaw Knight twists the release into almost proto breaks territory, a real curveball.
Lizards complete the package with their signature pulsing and melancholy sound. (by People Get Real)
