Hideout Announces Huge Third Wave Of Names For 2018

Packing one of the standout lineups of the summer, Hideout 2018 continues to grow and grow, with a fresh wave of names confirmed to head to the sun-soaked Zrce beach this summer.

Leading the third announcement is one of the most exciting DJs of the moment George FitzGerald. Championed by the likes of Zane Lowe and BBC 6 Music, George rose to prominence off the back of his party Man Make Music and won over dancefloors with tracks such as garage banger ‘Child’. Now set to release his hotly anticipated second album ‘All That Must Be’ in March, he is bound to tear Croatia up this summer.

Also joining the line up is B.Traits. One of the most popular DJs of recent times, the trusted selector also known as Brianna Price has become a recognised figure for big nights and big moments. Her work across Radio 1 has seen her become a true favourite, with her shows blending cutting-edge sounds and the latest underground heavyweights into sets that thousands want to play over and over. Bound to hit new heights under the Croatian sunshine, B.Traitsis a guaranteed winner at Hideout 2018.

Revered for its sensational reputation for British hip-hop and grime, Hideout is delivering once again – with a huge wave of new additions confirming its place as one of the most exciting festivals of the summer. One of the most talked about names in rising UK rap, Abra Cadabra has blended genres and styles with ease, emerging onto the scene in 2016 with a string of huge releases. Already a MOBO award winner, expect his unpredictable set to be packed wall to wall come June.

The most recognisable DJ in British hip-hop, Charlie Sloth has become a true household name. Through his hugely popular Radio 1 show, he’s soundtracked and championed the very best in emerging UK music, and will bring his unmistakable energy to Croatia this summer.

Talking about the festival, Charlie Sloth says:
“Really excited to be playing Hideout for the first time ever. It’s an honour to play one of the biggest festivals in the world!! Can’t wait to SHUT IT DOWN!!!”

Presenter, producer, tastemaker, influencer and all-round champion of electronic music Danny Howard will kick start the party weekend off in exactly the right style. Known for his simple ethos of bringing high energy and high spirits into every single one of his sets, his Hideout appearance is guaranteed to be a feel-good occasion.

Spinning more electric dancefloor classics are Horse Meat Disco, the party-starters whose ‘queer nights for everyone’ have become the stuff of legends. Get ready to throw yourself into their unmistakable world when Hideout 2018 comes around. Also heading to Hideout 2018 is Paul Woolford, who’s stunning festival sets, whether as Special Request or Bobby Peru are always a spectacle to behold.

It’s been a big year for Barely Legal, who will continue her ascent through 2018 with a storming set on the Isle of Pag, bringing her genre-blending mix of grime, bass, jungle and hip hop to the beach. South London MC Ms Banks will also be holding court at Hideout this year, bringing her beats, bars and a no-nonsense approach to the future of rap with a show everyone will be talking about once the festival is over.

Barely Legal says:
“So happy to be back at Hideout, it’s a definite favourite. Such a sick line up and the location is perfect!”

From top to bottom, Hideout continues to deliver with the most exciting names in electronica. Whether it’s the jacking house of Doorly, the bass vibes of Bristol duo GotSome, Chicago house legend DJ Sneak, Kaluki’s key party-starter Pete Zorba, underground bassline and grime weaver Mr Virgo, lo-fi beat mover DJ Seinfeld, house innovator Jacky, rising favourite Notion or raw influencers Pirate Copy – Hideout is a selection of sounds and styles that at every turn are lighting a fire in the future of an entire genre.
