Brighton-based DJ and producer Hugo Hollis, better known as Hollistic, returns to Déepalma Records with a captivating two-track release, ‘Travellers / Lost & Uncertain’, out October 10, 2025. The EP sees Hollistic delve into the lush, organic side of his sound, blending deep grooves with atmospheric textures and emotive energy.
After first joining the Déepalma family via the label’s Déepalma Soul sub-imprint with his ‘On A Roll’ EP, Hollistic quickly gained recognition for his shimmering Nu Disco cut ‘Tell Me What You Want’, which drew widespread attention across the house scene. With this latest offering, he shifts gears, embracing a more introspective and cinematic approach.
The lead track, ‘Travellers’, unfolds as a Balearic-inspired organic house journey, pairing hypnotic acoustic guitar lines with warm strings and layered synths to create an immersive, chilled vibe perfect for golden hour sets. Meanwhile, ‘Lost & Uncertain’ takes things deeper still — a soulful, slow-burning cut guided by sweet female vocals, drifting pads, and serene grooves.
Together, the two tracks reveal Hollistic’s evolving artistry — showcasing his ability to move seamlessly between sun-soaked Nu Disco and deeply atmospheric organic house. With ‘Travellers / Lost & Uncertain’, Hollistic cements his place as one of the UK’s most versatile and emotionally resonant producers.
