It’s time to take another trip into the sweaty night with our host Mobile Soul System.
His Homework EP is the latest realization of the budding Mobile Soul System project from Russian producer and DJ, Artem Ruchka. The opening track is an uneasy steamy minimal-tech-house burner, taking the reins slowly but firmly to lead us into ‘Rare’, the first of two collaborations with comrade Wyro.
‘Rare’ takes a pleasant turn off the 4/4 standard, offering up a break-beat infused sweat-machine. The title track takes us into a groovy funk, light and airy on the percussions with a delightfully playful synth bounce.
