After an assault of releases over the past year on the label, DaveJ is now consistently showcasing his sound & story with us – and what a deadly sound this is – the deepest funk-laden grooves expertly blended with the naughtiest hypnotic & rolling house & minimal b-lines.
The Essex based artist is a seasoned selector, with past shows at spaces including Egg Club & 93 Feet East and countless more in his native Essex county. Dave is also a member of the Chelmsford-based USpeople brand, bringing big-name acts to the city, throwing memorable events each time.
Dave’s 4TH release on HOT-GROOVERS demonstrates a clear continued theme of tight percussion mapping, wonderfully lively rolling deep grooves and super smooth vocal work.
Dave has also been co-producing a number of potent cuts with PuzzleProjectsMusic and HOT-GROOVERS label boss BenSpaldingOfficial scheduled for release on both labels through late 2022.
