Up-and-coming Chicago-based producer Azzecca—one of DJ Mag’s ‘Ones To Watch 2025’ and one of Beatport Next’s ‘Class Of 2025’—shares her new single, ‘Holding Back’, out Friday, February 7th on Three Six Zero Recordings.

‘Holding Back’ is the latest in Azzecca’s deep dive into spacey, hypnotic house. Bursting with bright breakbeat drums, mesmerising synths, an irresistible bassline, and a euphoric, anthemic piano melody, it’s a masterclass in dancefloor emotion. Azzecca herself describes it perfectly: “The vocal on this track felt so anthemic, I just wanted to take a swing at making something light and fun and housey, while still incorporating some of my signature cosmic sounds.” The result?
