NYC’s Pinto drops two heady, bumpin’ house cuts on SOUP NYC alongside a gritty remix from US mainstay John Hawley.
Hailing from NYC, Pinto’s undeniable talent has secured label signings with the legendary New York label Nervous Records, InHouse Records, Guesthouse Music, Simma Black, Fogbank Records and more. Named as one of Traxsource’s top Jackin House Producer of 2016, Pinto's signature sound continues to take dancefloors by storm worldwide. House Around is his first outing for SOUP NYC, and continues the trend for both artist and label for releasing raw, uncompromising house music of the very highest order.
The lead track builds through a chucky wandering bassline offset by delicate synths stabs and strings, with ethereal vocals building from a whisper to a roar in the break. On the remix, house veteran John Hawley beefs up the drums and adds a subtle acid line that – along with the rising pads and looped vocals – creates a searing tension that continues for the tracks entirety.
Completing the package is Can You Feel It, another Pinto original with intricately cut and interwoven vocals laced over a bumpin 4/4 groove that’s nigh-on impossible not to bounce along with.
