British duo CamelPhat release on Lee Foss’s Repopulate Mars this October, featuring three dancefloor ready house cuts.
A busy touring schedule has seen CamelPhat play some of Europe’s most renowned venues including Fabric, Rainbow and Amnesia Ibiza to name a few, as well as top festivals such as Hideout, Creamfields, We Are FSTVL and Tomorrowland. The duo has also become associated with a plethora of highly regarded labels this year with releases on Defected, Relief and Solardo’s Sola imprint. Returning to Repopulate Mars, having recently remixed James Curd & Diz, CamelPhat continue to raise the bar with another excellent release.
‘House Dawgs’ is driven by a heavyweight bassline, powerful drum fills and high energy vocal transitions whilst ‘O.M.G’ follows the dancefloor orientation of the release, deriving melody and rhythm from the effectively resampled vocal. ‘Magic Stick’ utilises an infectious lyrical hook, underpinned by percussion and low end which has the power and impact we have come to expect from CamelPhat, making it a well- executed close to the release.
CamelPhat’s ‘House Dawgs EP’ drops on Repopulate Mars on 27th October 2017.
Tracklist:
1. House Dawgs
