House music’s most exciting new star Beau Clair drops scorching disco-house hit ‘Step Into It’

One of the most exciting young house artists in recent years is Beau Clair, the Indonesian-born, US-based producer whose funk-fuelled blend of disco house has been setting dance floors and playlists around the world alight. After rounding off 2022 with his electrifying New Age Of House EP, Beau Clair is back and slamming his stake in the ground for 2023 with the fantastic new single ‘Step Into It’.

Get ready to be transported back in time with my new single ‘Step Into It’,” Clair said of his latest piece of work. “This nostalgic tech house track is bursting with retro-infused beats and sultry vocals that will have you feeling nostalgically charged and ready to dance. Don’t miss out on this trip down memory lane and join me on the dance floor.”

Delightfully light and carrying the kind of roller-disco vibe you’d find in a Natasha Diggs’ set, ‘Step Into It’ is easy, breezy, and brimming with inspired instrumentals including a roof-raising saxophone drop, set perfectly alongside a fierce tech-house bassline that brings the overall production absolutely up to date.

A regular appearance on US uber-imprint Insomniac Records and with support from the likes of Skrillex, DJ Snake, Diplo and more, Beau Clair has already collaborated with a host of major artists, including AC Slater, Matroda, and Martin Garrix’s alter ego Ytram. Indeed, it was 2020’s Ytram collaboration ‘Make You Mine’ on Garrix’s STMPD label, combined with huge remixes for Tchami and Habstrakt, that signalled the young star as one to keep an eye on.

He’s gone on to fulfill the promise and more, winning millions of streams with the Jelita feature ‘Have Me All’, a #22 spot on 1001Tracklist’s inaugural 1001 Top Producer list, an AC Slater collab featuring Kate Wild on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom label (‘Green Light’), and the Beatport #3 hit ‘Disco Tool’ with Matroda. He’s been equally as dominant on the road, with tour dates crisscrossing the States and huge debut performances at key festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Austin’s Seismic Dance Event and San Diego’s revered CRSSD Fest.

The future’s not bright for this artist, it’s practically blazing. For house fans everywhere, to have such a fresh new talent with the ability to take the finest elements of the genre’s past and fuse them with new influences and sounds, it feels like the craft is in safe hands indeed.
