September 16th see House music royalty Groove Armada make their debut on Riva Starr’s acclaimed Snatch! Records imprint with their brand new EP entitled, ‘House With Me’.

This essential three-track offering follows the world-renowned Grammy-and-Brit-Award-nominated duo’s ‘Little Black Book’ album release on Moda Black last year plus their more recent ‘FabricLive87’ mix compilation.
The EP’s title track ‘House With Me’ commences the release, taking the listener on a funk-driven dirty House groove full of sassy Saxophone riffs, crunchy bit-reduced drum samples and a recurring spoken word vocal stating “Eastside Boom, Westside Boom, Northside Boom, Southside Boom” from Chicago’s Ghetto House legend Parris Mitchell.
Next up is ‘U Can’, which takes us on more of a late 80s/early 90s Balearic House vibe, encompassing a distinctive soulful male vocal, warm pad sounds and rock-solid drum programming reminiscent of tracks like Joe Smooth’s House classic ‘Promised Land’ and Raze’s ‘Break For Love’.
Last but not least, Snatch’s label boss Riva Starr step up to deliver and tasty-and-cheeky edit of one of Groove Armada’s most successful tracks to date, ‘Superstylin’. Riva’s fresh-sounding rework features most of the original’s main ingredients but tweaked and manipulated to fit around a stomping new House groove.
‘House With Me’ EP is available exclusively via Beatport from September 16th and the rest of the world two weeks later.
