Househead LDN throw a Christmas That Perfect Beat with a US doubleheader debut from Doug Gomez & Mark Francis on Saturday December 9th at Aures

Following on their stellar Glenn Underground Exclusive at Neon, Househead LDN throw a festive That Perfect Beat event with US Guests Doug Gomez (Mercumbe Records) and Mark Francis (201 Records/Shelter) playing debut sets on Satirday December 9th at Aures in Waterloo’s  graffiti tunnel enclave, Leake Street.

Channeling an organic afro and percussive house style, Doug Gomez, a Colombian New Yorker now located in Costa Rica who’s “Puro” album on Nervous has just been selected for Grammy Consideration, whilst his latest track “Baby Powda” from the “Cypher Girl EP” has racked up #1 chart slots.  Joining him is “Human iPod,” Mark Francis, right hand man to the legendary Shelter club’s Timmy Regisford and whose afro and house style is reflected on his 201 Records. The label is known for nuggets such as Timmy Regisford’s “Lost In The Drums” epic; Stim Dizl’s “Your Hand” and the awesome tribute to the late UK house legend, Phil Asher,  “The Bass That Don’t Stop”. The Househead LDN Resident DJs Rap Saunders and Lee Coffey complete the Christmas party line up.

Aures is a very special space for Household LDN (who hosted their 1st Birthday celebrations here in June) with its warehouse style setting boosted by a cracking sound system and great visual production, offering clubbers a wild and immersive experience.

Looking ahead into the New Year, ‘That Perfect Beat’ makes its first visit to the labyrinth and quirky 25 Paul Street,  for a Mansion takeover, Household LDN style on Saturday February 24th 2024. New York’s hugely celebrated Jihad Muhammad headlines this very special night which sees Househead team members Lee Coffey and Adam Khody celebrate their birthdays.unleash their distinctive and friendly underground party spirit across both floors

 

Over the course of the 3 events there will be an excellent Resident DJ team in place featuring serious selectors Johnny Reckless (BBE/Four Directions), Rap Saunders and Bristol’s Deli G as well favourite DJs from their offshoot, London Calling events.
