At Aures, Leake St, Waterloo, SE1
Househead London bring their hugely successful That Perfect Beat party to Waterloo’s unique clubbing space, Aures, for the 1st time on Saturday June 17th. Taking things to the next level with a stellar cast of UK DJs including We Out Here Festival’s Johnny Reckless; Soulmates’ Rap Saunders, Bristol’s Good Vibrations mainman, Deli G and Edinburgh’s 6th Borough Project’ Craig Smith to let loose on Aures’ bass-shaking sound system, the Househead collective serve up the best in a wide range of contemporary House music over 7 hours.
Having stacked up 3 sold-out events since January 2023, The Perfect Beat’s party at Aures elevates the party vibe further with its immersive cutting edge lighting and production in an underground-style club setting offset by an outside Marquee space to relax in. Championing the ever-evolving sounds of the underground musical mix across the soulful, afro and deep house spectrum, The Perfect Beat is guaranteed to ignite the dance floor. Promising to be a mesmerising party, is anyone going home till the last beat drops?
Having grown out of the fast rising Househead record label launched in 2022, Househead Ldn are a breath of fresh air for the capital’s music-loving party people. Throwing one off events in a constantly changing set of new spaces around London, not used by the rest of the pack, the Househead collective fire things up their infectious energy and good times attitude.
“It’s touches a vital chord in the current clubbing landscape and I think it’s down to our constantly evolving and updating approach. We’re keeping The Perfect Beat at the cutting edge both musically and in terms of production and we’re blessed with a wonderfully inclusive up for it crowd that never want to go home. See you on the dance floor.”

Notes
The Perfect Beat
“Melanie Das and myself are ravers who’ve travelled across Europe and the UK for festivals and one-off events. After setting up the Househead label is 2022, what we discovered was that there was some amazing nights with an incredible following of like-minded people who love the music but musically and DJ wise things could be pretty static with the same DJs getting booked too regularly. There are really talented people around not getting booked, plus old players that can really do the business who are getting over looked so we launched our party with the concept of DJs playing and looking for ‘That Perfect Beat’. TPB is run by the combined talents of Adam Khodabukus (A&R/Social Media), Keith Murray and Steve Parr (Design & Marketing) too.”

We launched Househead the record label in 2022 and so far in 10 months the support has been amazing. 9 Tops 10 Traxsource Soulful Chart hits worldwide including “Get Here” by Prefix One ft Soul-omai; “Simple Things” by Prefix One ft Andrea Britton; “All In The Moment”
Smooth Soul ft Plaitts; “Fools Paradise” Prefix One ft Jaelee Smalls; “Rise Up” by
Prefix One ft Soul-Omai; “Moonlighting” by Wes Whynt & His Bitter Truth; “Deja” Wipe The Needle Remix – Prefix One ft. Hannah Khemoh; “Organic Approach” by Chidi Mayamiko and “Disco Life” by Gee W.
“From the success of my Friday afternoon radio show on House FM, I was getting literally hundreds of demos a week, some of which were unbelievably good. I’d play them, they would get released and just disappear, never achieving what I thought they should. So with my connections having worked in leading record store Black Market Records, and years of A&R experience working for Greyhound Distribution, I teamed up with Trevor Davey (Prefix One) to really go for it. Through our amazing network we’ve already featured as remixers and artists Booker T, Wipe the Needle, Wez Whynt, Yooks, Hannah Khemoh, DJ Pope (Baltimore), Lifford Shillingford, Andrea Britton, Jaelee Small, Gee W and Physical Education, and there’s lots more to come.”
