Balancing beautiful, melodic, rolling drum and bass that evokes the early liquid style of the late 90s, and modern elements that incorporate rough, saw-edge synths and FX, and bottom heavy, depth-charged bass lines, hypernaut and Sevnth Heavn bring us ‘Show Me The Light’, their infectious new track that pushes the limits of modern D’n’B.
Both acts have been making their own respective waves in the electronic scene. After winning the hotly contested EDC Orlando Discovery Project in 2023, hypernaut dropped a stunning mix of productions that straddle Bass House, UK Garage, and Tech House, including the Discovery Project-signed single ‘promise’. Sevnth Heavn is increasingly known for his ability to draw pure emotion out of his work, sinking listeners into lush chords and nostalgic vibes, absolutely evident on this collaboration with hypernaut. Put the pair together and you’re confronted with a track that has both dynamism and depth, pulling the best parts from the genre’s past and infusing them into forward thinking elements for an explosive end result.
