Hysteric Ego – Touchdown
Touchdown is the new three track EP from illustrious house producer Hysteric Ego released on his own imprint Courtois Music (coo-twar) on 19 August.
It marks the latest creative step from Hysteric Ego productions into sophisticated Deeper House realms already supported by the House Music elite Sanchez, Morillo et al.
For house music connoisseurs, Hysteric Ego needs little introduction. The seminal Want Love was a huge hit in 1996 and more recently has been locked in at the top end of the Beatport House Charts as a 2013 rejuvenated classic alongside Crazibiza and Jerome Robins. Hysteric Ego has completed worldwide tours, signed countless tracks to highly respected compilations, clocking up single sales in their millions.
The new Touchdown EP and its widely supported predecessor The Ego Had Landed EP – are sonic signs of Hysteric Ego’s more emotive and passionate sounds for summer 2013.
Track 1, I Can’t Find No Love weaves melodic deep houses percussion with catchy vocal stabs. Track 2, Feel Good, offers the listener deeper hypnotic grooves whilst delivering driving, uplifting moods. Finally, Track 3, is a deep re-rub of the Hysteric Ego classic Want Love that is set to be a huge hit on dancefloors this summer as this vintage track is introduced to new generations.
There is no question Hysteric Ego has a glowing history in the world of house music. The launch of Courtois Music and the aforementioned EPs showcase Hysteric Ego’s musical intentions – to have organic house purists licking their lips to a series of expertly produced tracks.
