HYTE BCN: A new output for house and techno in Barcelona

The hugely successful HYTE series of events is set to launch a new residency on 3rd July at the amazing L’Atlantida venue in Barcelona. Taking place weekly throughout July and August HYTE BCN will aim to be the hub for house and techno music in this European hotspot. And following the success of HYTE NYC on Governers Island last year, it is apparent that the new residency will be a focal point of the European electronic music scene for the coming months.

As ever HYTE will be bringing the finest selection of artists to Barcelona over the course of the residency. For those whose preference is more house the likes of Apollonia, Maceo Plex, Mano le Tough, Tale of Us, tINI, Scuba, and Nina Kraviz among others will be on hand. In addition heavy weights such as Adam Beyer, Ben Klock, Carl Cox, Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Marcel Dettmann, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati and Pan-Pot will provide a soundtrack that takes in sounds from all corners of the techno map.

Hyte is a series of club events and larger scale festivals that recreate the free spirited early days of house and techno music. A community vibe runs to the core of the party, with like-minded party revelers being encouraged to participate and contribute to the journey of the event via the extra special production effects and club layout. Now more than ever the relationship between performer and listener is key to the mood of the event, and Hyte is an events series that allows that bond to not only exist, but thrive.
