HOST - I Wanna Be Your Friend EP

As the anticipated follow up to their debut single ‘All Night Every Night‘ / ‘State Of Your Soul’ that was released via LA label B3SCI (Jungle, Aquilo, Oceaan) in April 2016, the East London songwriting and production pair are once again back working with the mixing talents of Steve Dub of The Chemical Brothers to present their new EP “I Wanna Be Your Friend EP”

The duo, whom originally met in East London and subsequently connected via their mutual love of New Order, Talking Heads and seminal house producers like Marshall Jefferson struck a 80’s charmed chord with their debut studio offering gaining quick-paced radio support from Mary Anne Hobbs, BBC London, Beats 1, John Kennedy and being A-Listed on Amazing Radio.

Despite their separate geographical locations Tommy & Ben Leverock Esser’s musical bond has never been greater allowing their respective Berlin and London surroundings to weave their way into their already unique harmony-led and live electronic sound.

The new EP is in balance, both a declaration of love for the fundamental togetherness and spiritual principles of club culture and a celebration of the songwriting depths that the pair has focused so closely on.

As a testament to the classic house sound that has infiltrated their production sessions “I Wanna Be Your Friend & Never Look Back” will be available as a very limited 12” as well as digital formats and lays out the tone ahead of their planned 2017 full length album release.
