Following releases on London label Sleazy Deep, Barcelona based Ian Metty releases his brand new track, ‘Won´t Sleep For A Minute’ exclusively on Hedonism Music – out January 12.
Filled with a warm sub bass, resonant growls and dreamy synth lines, ‘Won’t Sleep For A Minute’ is mellow deep house at its finest, complete with Rahjwanti’s distinctive vocal.
First up on the remixes is Berlin based Sasse who offers an upbeat, almost sci-fi rendition of the original, whilst Vanilla Ace’s rework is full of flair and confidence, laying down a tech house groove with a bouncy bassline. Closing the package, a deep, dark remix from man of the moment, Teenage Mutants.
Ian Metty lives between Berlin and the Costa Brava and spends most of his time making music. He’s been causing a storm behind the decks across some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including dates in London, Berlin, Prague and Barcelona, with sets renowned for their energy and passion.
“Music needs to be colourful,” says Ian on his music, and his DJing. “It’s like a painting where you have to choose the right colours. Every sound has its colour and purpose. It’s all about expression.”
