2014 has been an inspirational year for the Another Party crew, and for their final event of the year the popular London based promoters will toast their milestone with a line-up that features a stellar line up of American House legends in the form of Jerome Sydenham, Joe Claussell & Kerri Chandler on December 5th at cavernous super-club Pulse London on Friday 5th December.
After hosting events featuring the likes of The Martinez brothers, Mathew Jonson &Moodymann this year alone, it’s no wonder that Ibadan Records have enlisted Another Party to help them celebrate 20 years of quality, underground house music. Fusing the unique and timeless styles of four of house music’s most prominent figures, Another Party’s reputation continues to grow with their final and biggest event of the year.
Kerri “Kaoz” Chandler returns to play for the second time since his appearance at their third birthday back in 2013, bringing his respect, passion and love for underground dance music to the 2,000 capacity venue. New York legend and part of the infamous Body & Soul collective, Joe Claussell, promises to bring trademark surprise-laden, jazz influenced blend of disco, funk and house. Finally, Jerome Sydenham – boss of Ibadan records and one of modern dance’s most visionary producers and DJs – will be on hand to make sure the celebrations go off with a decidedly loud thud.
The latest venture marks a new wave of high profile events for the Veteran London brand, who’re rapidly approaching their 5th birthday in Jan 2015, and will put to its name a full Cocoon showcase 2 weeks ahead of the Ibadan anniversary. Another Party also holds a few huge surprises for the first half of 2015, very much in line with its current programming.
