Ibiza Global Radio Launches Island’s First Free Sustainable Music Festival Headlined By Luciano & Nic Fanciulli

Ibiza Global Radio announces a two-day sustainable music festival, ‘Ibiza Global Festival’,
taking place on the 30th and 31st of July 2022 in San Antonio. The free two-day event will run
from 5pm until midnight each day, with 14 hours of live electronic music across the weekend.

Under the motto ‘The Rhythm Of The Planet’, this is the first time a 100% eco-focussed
electronic music festival will take place on the Balearic island. Ibiza Global Radio is forging
forward and aims to become a leader for environmentally-friendly events in Ibiza.

The festival will have a Live Stage and also a Main Stage that will be headlined by Luciano, the
award-winning Chilean and Swiss DJ and producer, on Day 1. On Day 2, the festival is
headlined by Grammy-nominated house music DJ and producer Nic Fanciulli.
Both Luciano and Fanciulli are no strangers to Ibiza’s unrivalled club scene.

Luciano, label boss at Cadenza Records, is bound to set the dancefloor alight with his signature
electrifying house, tech house and techno sound marked by sizzling Latin American influences.
Meanwhile, Nic Fanciulli knows exactly how to whip the crowd into a frenzy with his trademark
energetic and powerful house sound. He has been making waves this summer in Ibiza with
guest spots all over the island, and his new DANCE! residency every Sunday featuring an array
of surprise guests.

Luciano and Fanciulli will head up a carefully curated music programme that will run from 17:00
CET until midnight on each day, featuring a mix of international guests and talent from the Ibiza
Global roster.

Set to take place on San Antonio’s S’Arenal beach at the centre of the iconic sunset destination, the
event will offer a number of different areas to highlight the multiple facets of the island: its natural
beauty, the unique lifestyle, the incredible energy, the spectacular gastronomy and the hospitable
spirit of the locals. These include the main stage as well as a food market, chillout space, acoustic
jam sessions, and a gaming zone.

The event has a limited capacity of 30,000 over the two days. Guests can register in advance for a
chance to win two backstage passes to the event. With a key focus on a ‘greener and cleaner’ future, a number of environmentally-friendly measures will be integral to the event – such as the use of recyclable cups. Art installations celebrating life and nature will be set up on the main stage and throughout the
grounds.

Daniele Luppino, CEO of Ibiza Global Radio, comments:
“We are very excited to be launching Ibiza Global Festival, the island’s first sustainable music festival. Ibiza has always been a leader for electronic music, and now is the time we lead the way for sustainable events. This event is from the people of Ibiza, for the island.”

Event sponsors include Heineken, Coca Cola, Pioneer DJ, Royal Bliss, MDL Beast, Caffé
Pascucci, Grana Padano, Funktion One and Sonitek, as well as event partners O Beach Ibiza,
Ibiza Rocks, Soul City, and Amistat Island Hostel Ibiza.

The festival is organised with full support from island institutions including Ayuntamiento de San
Antonio, Fomento del turismo de la isla de Ibiza, and Consell d’Eivissa.
