Rondevu - iD EP

After a series of releases across labels including Format Music, Materialism, Cheap Thrills, Witty Tunes, Kinetika Records & Conformity Not – Scottish DJ and Producer Rondevu launches his self-titled imprint, Rondevu Music.

Over the past few years, Rondevu has gained support from some of the biggest names in electronic music – from the likes of Roger Sanchez, Sante, Riva Starr, Hot Since 82, Justin Martin, Tensnake & Paco Osuna.

Paving the way for this bold new chapter, Rondevu steps up for the first release with his ‘iD’ EP, the title a clear statement of his own identity and what to expect from the direction of the label.

‘iD1’ reveals unearths the main room contender, packed with fierce percussive elements and a series of synth stabs. As a timeless techno edge unfurls, the track gives way to a melodic breakdown laced with recurring electronic bleeps.

Continuing the theme, ‘iD2’ serves up a grittier bassline and touches on the darker territories of Rondevu’s productions. The track dips into a echoed breakdown before unearthing a prominent electronic soundscape blended together with faint vocal cuts.

Each track presents an EP that translates to any late night club set, and with a strong schedule of forthcoming releases on the label, Rondevu’s ‘iD’ EP marks a brand new chapter for the Aberdeen-based artist and an insight of what’s to come in 2017.
