Yogi & Husky aka Random Soul unleash their latest uplifting vocal house anthem ‘If We Let Got Tonight’, in a package that includes remixes from house legends Full Intention and disco/funk purveyor Cavego.
Random Soul is the musical collaboration of electronic artists Yogi & Husky, who are an infectious blend of house, soul and funk, incorporating the impressive vocals of Yogi himself. ‘If We Let Go’ is a typically life-affirming house cut from the duo, with Yogi’s vocal complemented by shimmering pads, bubbling synths and warm bass; a sun-drenched, summer anthem.
The Classic Mix offers up an alternate version, adding old-school piano chords and a more urgent groove. Full Intention’s mix builds patiently via slick synth pulses and subtle filters in their trademark style, while Cavego slows the tempo and adds arpeggiated synths and a wandering bassline for a remix that treads somewhere funk and disco, and delivers on every level.
