FreedomB is set to release ‘If You Believe’ this June via Sense Traxx, comprising three tracks from the Berlin based artist.
Berlin, Germany based producer and DJ FreedomB has been on an upwards trajectory over the past few years, racking up releases on leading house imprints such as Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, Hector Couto’s Roush and the powerhouse promoter ElRow’s imprint. Here we see him joining the roster of the critically acclaimed Sense Traxx, following recent support on the label from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Sante & Sidney Charles, Maya Jane Coles and Carlo Lio to name but a few.
Title-track ‘If You Believe’ opens the release and fuses an amalgamation of infectious disco samples ranging from soaring diva vocals to bright string lines and funk-infused guitar licks whilst classic house rhythms and pulsating bass further fuels the heady groove.
‘Let’s Freak’ follows and retains a similar aesthetic with intricately programmed guitar licks samples running alongside soulful vocal lines and a dance floor focused drum workout before ‘Let’s Freak (DJ Tool)’ rounds out the package, as the name would suggest stripping back the vibe to it’s rawer state of samples as a builder tool for DJ’s.
FreedomB’s ‘If You Believe’ EP is out on Sense Traxx 16th (Traxsource) and 30th (General) June 2017.
