iLanga original track was dropped in early 2023 and was written by Aphendulwa who drew inspiration for the track during a sunny day. ‘iLanga’ means ‘Sun’.
The lyrics sung in isiZulu & IsiXhosa languages in iLanga have a deeper spiritual meaning.
Nash La Musica is (guise of Tinashe Jomairwa) a Witbank-based musician, DJ and producer, Aphendulwa and Nash La Musica have worked together on “Umzabalazo” and DJ MAGAZINE track of the week cut the anthemic , powerful “Drums of War”.
Between them their tracks have received remixes from Doug Gomez, KUSASA, Dj Kone & Marc Palacios, Kenny Summit and A.C.N.
Aphendulwa is a KwaZulu–Natal, South Africa-based singer and songwriter. Aphendulwa recently appeared on season 19 of the talent show ‘IDOLS SA 2023 South Africa’, winning a Golden Ticket. Judges hailed Aphendulwa’s ability to hit different notes and her breathing technique.
A.C.N. is an emerging DJ/producer from Brazil, currently known for his characteristic melodic afro sound, which excites the public.
The artist has already signed tracks with major labels such as Moblack, Wired and recently with Adana Twins’ TAU label. In addition, his tracks have already had the support of big names like &me, Black Coffee, Swedish House Mafia, among others.
The remix by A.C.N. for iLanga, elevates the Afro elements and retains the essence of the original, creating a dynamic weapon for the dancefloor that will undoubtedly thrill clubbers. AC.N. has crafted the remix and added an edit in this package.
