Copy Paste Soul - In Focus EP

On January 25th 2016 one of the UK’s most talented rising DJ/producers Copy Paste Soul returns to Carl Cox and Jon Rundell’s seminal Intec imprint with his brand new EP entitled, ‘In Focus’.
 
This outstanding two-track offering follows the Maidstone-based artist’s acclaimed ‘Hypno’ EP on Intec and further releases on imprints such as Suara, FCOM, Gruuv, Exploited, Alive Records, MadTech plus his very own 2 Swords Records which have helped his music garner support from the electronic music elite including; Laurent Garnier, Moxie, Carl Cox, Annie Mac, Justin Martin, MistaJam, Skream, T. Williams, Modeselektor, Disclosure and Tensnake.
 
The EP’s title track ‘In Focus’ kicks things off in fine fashion, delivering a tasty Tech House groove, a killer detuned synth riff and an abundance of rave-esque sound effects. ‘CTRL’ continues the mania and concludes the EP with a driving House beat, an intriguing arpeggiated pitched percussion texture and a series of lush sustained chords to help build just the right amount of tension and suspense.
                                                                                                                    
All in all, both tracks complement each other perfectly to make a brilliant follow up release from one of the UK’s hottest emerging stars. ‘Focus EP is available exclusively via Beatport from January 25th and the rest of the world two weeks later.
